The Challenge

In 2023, Formula 1 launched its inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix — a global spectacle with unprecedented expectations for luxury hospitality, operational precision, and VIP guest management. TLC Models was contracted to staff the entire VIP Hostess Program inside the elite Formula 1 Paddock Club, servicing the world’s most influential teams, sponsors, and luxury partners.

12–15 hour days over 4–5 consecutive days
Managing talent across 2–6 wardrobe variations
Flawless delivery under global spotlight conditions
Real-time coordination with DO & CO, F1 suite managers, and international team partners including McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Aston Martin, TAG Heuer and Louis Vuitton
Complete alignment with F1’s global luxury standards — with no margin for error

From the very first year, TLC’s performance exceeded expectations — setting the foundation for a multi-year, multi-city expansion.

The TLC Models Solution

1. Strategic, multi-layered staffing architecture

TLC built a multi-tiered command structure tailored to F1’s demands.

Tier 1 — Executive Supervisors (5–10 daily): oversaw all VIP hostesses, suite assignments and Paddock Club operations; acted as direct liaisons to DO & CO and suite managers; handled live escalations, rotations, and schedule management.
Tier 2 — Elite VIP Hostesses (80–130 per day): welcomed, seated and engaged guests; executed guest flow, table management, wristband operations and concierge-level service; sustained high-energy hospitality for 12+ hours.
Tier 3 — Guest flow, entrances and directional leads: controlled entrances, validated wristbands and passes, and guided guests through multi-floor Paddock Club zones.

2. Multi-city expansion: proof of excellence

The success of TLC’s inaugural Las Vegas year became the catalyst for a multi-city, multi-year contract. After Las Vegas 2023, TLC was awarded Miami and Austin. By 2025, TLC has executed seven Formula 1 races with escalating responsibility — and by race three, TLC was trusted to run the entire VIP Hostess Program independently, front to back, without external oversight.

3. Elite recruitment: 200–250 interviews per race

F1 requires talent to embody luxury service etiquette, brand awareness, world-class poise, emotional endurance and aesthetic consistency. TLC developed a rigorous vetting ecosystem:

200–250 candidate interviews per race
On-camera assessments
Appearance and etiquette screening
High-pressure scenario roleplay
Uniform, grooming, and poise testing

4. The Traveling Premier Hostess Team

A defining strength of the program is a curated group of ten elite VIP hostesses who travel with us to every Grand Prix city. TLC manages flights, ground transportation, hotels and room assignments, wardrobe distribution, multi-day appearance checks, and pre-race briefings.

Consistency across all F1 cities
Immediate deployment to high-touch VIP roles
Faster onboarding of new hostesses
Elevated guest experience from city to city

5. Wardrobe engineering

TLC operated a hybrid wardrobe system with DO & CO: purchasing and supplying portions of the wardrobe, storing select uniforms at TLC headquarters between races, dry cleaning and prepping TLC-owned pieces, and running a complete daily check-in/check-out system for DO & CO–issued uniforms — blending fashion-level backstage operations with live-event speed.

6. Real-time incident resolution

The hallmark of luxury hospitality is invisibility: problems must be solved before a guest senses them. TLC supervisors resolved wardrobe malfunctions, reassigned staff seamlessly, addressed suite shortages, and rebuilt table plans in real time — producing zero guest-facing issues across seven major Grand Prix races.

The Outcome

85–140 staff deployed per race
4–5 consecutive days per event
12–15 hour shifts executed with consistency and energy
Seamless wardrobe operations across cities
7 successful Grand Prix races completed
Expanded into 3+ cities after year one
Entrusted with full operational leadership by race #3

The Insight

Large-scale staffing success requires specialization, endurance and leadership. F1 is not just an event — it is proof of TLC’s operational intelligence, recruitment strength, luxury service mastery, and ability to command teams of 100+ talent daily in front of the world’s most high-profile guests and brands.
